Pastor E.A Adeboye Retires As General Overseer Of R.C.C.G

The general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God ( R.C.C.G ) pastor E.A Adeboye or Daddy G.O as he is popularly called by members of the church, has been reported to have retired as the general overseer of the church.

The announcement of his decision to take the back seat was made by Daddy G.O himself on Saturday morning, he will be replaced by pastor J.O Obayemi who was a deputy in charge of Finance and a member of governing council.

Pastor Adeboye said the reason for his decision was owing to the new federal government policy that places a limit on the number of years an individual can be general overseer of a religious entity.
He also said that the new G.O would be in charge of church activities in Nigeria while he Adeboye would still coordinate major activities of the church.
